14 members set off from the Station Park car park and walked alongside the Annan river and passed under the current Edinburgh Road eventually emerging on to the Old Edinburgh road.
The weather was beautiful and we walked back towards Moffat before climbing up to the lower slopes of Gallow Hill before descending to the road leading up to Archbank. From there we crossed the Hind Gill to Alton and then climbed up to the edge of Craigieburn Wood and joined the track to Frenchland and Rogermoor. We next walked back into Moffat along the Selkirk Road where we enjoyed a well-earned ice cream.
