Distance: Approx. 4 miles / 6½ kilometres.
Walk Time: Approx. 2½ to 3 hours.
Walk Description: A pleasant walk around the Dalswinton Estate, on good paths with two short gentle inclines.
Meet / Travel: Murray Street car park at 9.30 a.m. Mini -bus available. From Annan 22 miles via A75 towards Dumfries and the Dumfries bypass. At the 2nd roundabout turn right onto the A701 towards Moffat. At the first roundabout stay on A701 (first exit). After a short distance turn left onto C11 signed to Kirkton and Auldgirth. Continue for about 5 miles through Kirkton and Duncow towards Dalswinton. Park at a wide road entrance on the right just before the entrance gate to Dalswinton Estate on the left.
Walk Starting Point / Toilets:10.20 a.m. at parking area. Toilets at Dalswinton Village Hall.
Walkers Dogs: Dogs in owner's car and on lead okay. Guide dogs only on bus.
Refreshments: Usual refreshments.
Equipment: Usual outdoor wear for the time of year.
