Walk Description: A classic Dumfries & Galloway coastal and countryside walk with great views. Mainly flat and good underfoot with a short manageable uphill bit through the wood. On quiet country roads, merse, farm tracks and forest path. Walk includes detour to Almorness beach for lunch depending on the weather.
Travel - bus or own car: From Annan west along A75 to Cargenbridge and pick up A711 to Dalbeattie. Through Dalbeattie just after bridge take left and stay on A711. After approx. 3.5 miles take left into Palnackie.
Mini-bus available for 16 passengers.
