    • Walkers are advised to bring their own hand sanitiser and face coverings.

Distance: Approx.4.4 miles

 

Walk Time: Approx. 3 – 3.5 hours

 

Walk Description: Flat circular walk on floodbanks and grassy paths and part roadway for a very short time (quite rough walking at times).

 

Travel: Make own way to start point at Kirkton Village Hall. From Annan 18.5 miles via A75 to Dumfries leaving the bypass at 2nd roundabout to join A701 north. Bear left at first roundabout on A701 then after about 200 metres turn left at signpost for Auldgirth. Kirkton approx. 2 miles further on. Parking opposite the Village Hall.

Walk Start Point: 10.15am approx. at Kirkton Village Hall

 

Toilets: Due to Covid restrictions NO toilets are available.

 

Dogs: No dogs.

 

Refreshments: Bring own lunch, snacks and drinks etc.

 

Equipment: Usual outdoor wear for the time of year.
