Walk Description: The walk will take an anti-clockwise circular route from the village hall along footpaths, tarmac roads and tracks ending back at the village hall for lunch. The walk will take us passed Queensberry Terrace then up into Kinmount estate passing near Kinmount House , through Hollybush Farm then down the hill towards Hurkledale Farm before returning the village hall.
Travel: Make own way or by car share to start point. Head west out of Annan towards Dumfries then take a left onto the B724 (low road). After approx. 3 miles enter Cummertrees village, pass under railway bridge. The village hall is located near the middle of the old village, set back from the road on the right. DG12 5QD
Walk Start Point / Toilets: 10.00am approx. at Cummertrees Village Hall car park.
Toilets in village hall. Members are asked to bring a donation for use of the hall facilities.
Dogs: No dogs.
Refreshments: Bring own snacks, lunch and drinks.
Equipment: Usual outdoor wear for the time of year.
