  • British Pipe Band ChampionshipsBritish Pipe Band Championships :: Saturday 26 June 2010
    For nearly 60 years, Annan has been a magnet for competing pipe bands from both sides of the border. The first pipe band contest was the Dumfries and Galloway Championship in 1950. And there has been an uninterrupted sequence of annual contests in Annan up to the present day. Annan will now host the British Pipe Band Championships in 2010, 2011 and 2012 - the first of these championships to be held on Saturday 26 June 2010.
