  • Annan Walking Group Away Day :: Saturday 26th April 2014
    Jim and Sheena Hawkins will lead us in a walk in Arnside on Morecombe Bay. Those not walking can have a day in Kendal. Price for coach and a meal is £20.00. Secretary is now accepting bookings. There may be a few seats available for non-members. Contact Archie Smith on 01461 203250.

  • Drop in and draw :: Monday 5 May

    Collect some drawing paper, pencils and a board. Draw your favourite thing in the museum. All drawings will be displayed in our children’s art gallery and there will be prizes for the best drawings in the age categories; under 5 years, 5-8 years and 9-12 years.

  • Exhibition: Tiger, Tiger :: Until Sat 31 May

    Pioneering the use of tripwires and camera traps, Frederick Walter Champion (1893 - 1970) produced photographs of Indian wildlife in the 1920s and 30s. The resulting work is stunning and evocative. This exhibition celebrates his life’s work with a selection of his images and his original camera equipment.
