Annan Initiative
Town Centre Action Plan
This Action Plan was produced by Annan Initiative following discussion
and
consultation with townspeople. It is intended to provide a community
based
direction to the on-going effort to build on the strengths of the
town and
its people and to address issues which undermine that.
The Plan
embraces
Annan's history and the outstanding conservation area status
at the heart of
the town centre. It does so by promoting change to meet the needs
of today
and, hopefully, tomorrow. It is of course a matter of fact that
words alone do not bring about desired
change but actions are now underway to turn aspirations into
reality.
