The Royal Burgh Of Annan Pipe Band

Two pipe bands, the Annan Ex-Service Club Pipe Band and the MacLean Pipe Band have merged to form a united Annan band - "The Royal Burgh Of Annan Pipe Band".

The Pipe Major is David McCracken, the Pipe Sergeant is Chris Shearer and the Leading Drummer is Scott Smith.

The Band won the 2005 British Pipe Band Championships in Grade 3B and won the British Drumming Championships on 30th July in Tain. This Major Championship win is the first by an Annan band since the early 1990's.
