Annan Initiative Quilting & Tapestry GroupThe Group was established in 2000 to foster a shared interest in aspects of needlework. The Group is a member of Annan Initiative and meets twice monthly. To date it has collectively produced a pictorial view of the town – past and present – which was gifted to the Museum and forms part of its permanent collection; a double bed quilt which was raffled with the proceeds of that and a Coffee Morning, £1,250 in total, being donated to Cancer Research Scotland (see photo below); and most recently childrens' quilts and wall hangings which have been gifted to the Robins House Childrens' Hospice in Balloch on Loch Lomond.
