Annan Museum
This
is the museum, archive and exhibition centre for East Dumfriesshire,
in Bank Street, Annan.
The Annan Museum houses
a permanent exhibition on the history of Annan. This is a fascinating
walk through time from the prehistoric
period right up to the first world war with interactives and
children’s activities.
It is open to the public during
normal hours (see below), but is available to group/coach bookings
anytime.

Open April to October, Monday - Saturday and most Bank Holiday Mondays,
11am - 4pm.

The Annan Museum is conveniently placed in the centre of Annan,
just off the High Street. It is 3 minutes walk from the train station
and 5 minutes walk from the main bus stop.
From Dumfries drive
into town and turn right at the town centre traffic lights. The
museum is on your left and a free car parks can be found throughout
the town.
